BIO
Hello! I’m an illustrator based in Leeds.
My work ranges from detailed narrative scenes to daft drawings of cats. I’m particularly interested in character design and I love drawing people and animals.
My first children’s book, Great People who Reached for the Stars (written by Louise Page) was published in 2021 by Scholastic.
Recently I’ve made illustrations for the Young Women’s Trust, Aire Place Studios, and S L Page, and in 2020 my work appeared in the Secret 7” exhibition and auction in aid of Help Refugees at NOW Gallery in London.
I also design and print a range of stationery and cards, which you can find at illustratorkat.etsy.com, Fabrication Crafts, Beam Works, Open Source Arts, Left Bank Leeds and Wapentake
When I’m not drawing, I deliver creative workshops at events such as Left Bank’s Creative Wednesdays. In 2022 I taught a weekly art class for OWLS, a local charity organisation for seniors, and since 2021 I've worked with the charity Get Further delivering GCSE tuition to students in Bradford and Leeds.
